Welcoming guests on board a steam train, Spa Valley Railway strives to promote the historic railway linking Eridge, Groombridge and Tunbridge Wells. Visitors can admire the High Weald landscape from the comfort of a restored 1960s train. They can visit the local sights, including the Groombridge Place Gardens and Enchanted Forest, the restored station buildings and the High Rocks stone outcrop. In Tunbridge Wells visitors can witness an exposition of historic locomotives and engines as well as an engine shed erected in 1886. Driving experiences and themed tours, including fish, chips and murder or pie, mash and a pint are also available. The old-fashioned trains can also be hired for a range of private events and weddings.
