This 45-minute meet-a-meerkat experience for two gives participants a chance to hand-feed the animals and learn about their habits, with plenty of photo opportunities also available. Treated to a hot drink on arrival, guests will be greeted by the park’s meerkat keepers before visiting the enclosure to befriend and feed Timone and Pumba, the resident meerkats. Participants also receive a day’s entry to Eagle Heights.
Meerkats, snakes and lizards are just a few of the critters to be seen at Eagle Heights, along with about 100 birds of prey in both indoor and outdoor aviaries. The wildlife park stands out thanks to its mission to help care for animals, demonstrated by its on-site private bird hospital and dedicated incubation and rearing facilities. Educational programmes, lectures, and conversational talks are also on the menu, along with hot and cold fare at the cafe.
