Entry to the Park and Gardens of Knebworth House

Knebworth House £15
Knebworth House is famous for hosting era-defining concerts, but one of England’s best-loved stately homes isn’t just an iconic venue for the world’s biggest pop stars, it’s a great day out for the entire family. The beautiful gothic mansion deserves attention, but look beyond the turrets, domes and gargoyles and you’ll uncover 250 acres of rolling hills perfect for family picnics and long strolls, an adventure playground with its very own zip-wire and bouncy castle, and beautiful Edwardian gardens with a maze, reflective pool and a walled kitchen garden. The Dinosaur Trail is particularly popular with young visitors, with 72 lifesized pre-historic animals scattered throughout. Kids can also learn all about the ferocious T-Rex, woolly mammoths and practice their own caveman drawings on huge chalk boards.
