Warwick, Stratford and Oxford tour
Premium Tours offer the chance to take in three sites of historical interest over the course of a one-day tour lasting around 11 hours. Boasting over 1,000 years of history, Warwick Castle gives visitors the opportunity to explore its various ramparts, towers and gardens, as well as the dungeons and a waxwork display portraying the Earl of Warwick’s preparations for battle. The visit also includes a cream tea and a private talk about the site in the Castle’s Coaching House.
The tour then heads to Stratford-upon-Avon, with free time for lunch or option to purchase ticket to see the birthplace of William Shakespeare, or to simply peruse the town and take in the likes of Holy Trinity Church, where the Bard is buried, or some of the the riverside market town’s half-wooden buildings.
Finally, the group move on to Oxford, with various colleges that make up one of the world’s oldest academic institutions offering up a host of architectural highlights, with the a chance to take part in a guided walk or take tea before heading back to London.
