Isle of Wight Day Trip
Day-trippers can leave London behind and embark on visit to the Isle of Wight, transported by coach before taking the ferry from Southampton. The boat will arrive on the ferry at East Cowes and from there a coach will take customers to Shanklin. Here, passengers will have the opportunity to explore the promenade, cafes, restaurants and Shanklin Chine, a historic gorge featuring a 45-foot waterfall. A former royal residence, Osborne House is next on the itinerary. The imposing building showcases Italian Renaissance design and was once the home of Queen Victoria. Visitors can make the most of the grand rooms, manicured gardens, sprawling grounds and private beach that offers panoramic views across the Solent.
