The Hotel
With a rich history dating back to the 12th century, Wroxall Abbey Hotel & Estate invites guests to 27 acres of crafted gardens, and a cluster of listed buildings, including a Grade I church designed by former inhabitant, Sir Christopher Wren. Holidaymakers may head to The National Exhibition Centre, sitting a 20-minute drive away, or practice their swing on one of the golf courses, located in the surrounding area.
The Mansion is a Grade II listed Victorian building providing four star accommodation in spacious rooms boasting an individual design and preserving period features such as traditional wallpapers and classic furnishings.
Decked out in a warm decor, Sonnets Restaurant offers plenty dining opportunities, including a tasting menu consisting of canapes, homemade soup, sonnets, sorbet, mains, desserts and mince pies.
Several wood-panelled bars, featuring leather armchairs and relaxation music, invite guests to savour a drink while taking in the garden views or snuggling into the sofas.
Relaxation is top of the menu at the leisure club with a heated pool, steam room, sauna, and spa pool, while outdoor activities come in the form of a tennis court complemented by the entangled paths of the parkland.
