The tour then heads to Stratford-upon-Avon, with free time for lunch or option to purchase ticket to see the birthplace of William Shakespeare, or to simply peruse the town and take in the likes of Holy Trinity Church, where the Bard is buried, or some of the the riverside market town’s half-wooden buildings. Finally, the group move on to Oxford, with various colleges that make up one of the world’s oldest academic institutions offering up a host of architectural highlights, with the a chance to take part in a guided walk or take tea before heading back to London.
