The Hotel
Resting in the picturesque town of Weybridge, Oatlands Park Hotel is an 18th-century mansion offering a base for exploring Surrey. The four star country house hotel is placed amid extensive gardens and stands on the site of the grand Royal Palaces of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, while the cedar tree in the front of the hotel was planted by Charles I to celebrate the birth of his son, Henry of Oatlands.
Spacious, individually decorated rooms offer a high level of comfort and boast views of the hotel grounds and lake.
The Mulberry Restaurant provides a traditional British menu, with dishes prepared using local produce, and features an extensive wine list. The Lounge Bar offers a variety of light bites and drinks, while guests may enjoy live music of the resident pianist every Thursday night and relax to the sounds of the jazz quartet during Sunday lunch.
London Heathrow airport is approximately a 20-minute drive away, and there is a frequent service running to London Waterloo from Walton on Thames and Weybridge railway stations.
