Butterfly World Project Entry from £3.10 (Up to 53% Off) St Albans

Butterfly World Project

A wildlife conservation project which was launched at the Royal Entomological Society in 2008, the Butterfly World Project aims to educate and raise awareness among visitors about some of the world’s most delicate and beautiful creatures. There are several different zones to explore: the British Butterfly Garden is planted to attract native butterfly species, while the Tropical Butterfly House has a humid atmosphere to comfortably accommodate over 600 butterflies from 20 different tropical species. The Bee Hut houses a hive of busy bees with information about their honey-making skills, and the Insect Study Centre lets visitors get up close to a host of creepy crawlies. The centre is designed around a fuss-free family day out, with a cafe, several picnic areas, the Natural Play Area, pretty walks and a gift shop to keep the whole family entertained.
